Today, Google launched its attempt to create a more powerful approach on Social media with search which basically gives a weighted algorithm based on a social platform called Google +1. This development has been launched and javascript codes are already available to install on websites.

Google +1 functions like a “facebook like” button which serves like a vote one up or a recommendation on a particular web article or content. One needs to have a Google public profile to “+1” things on the web. (of course you can always undo your +1 by clicking on the same button again.)
When you look for stuff on the web, your search results will be affected with your connections’ +1’s. Therefore, if you are looking for a good vacation deal, you will be able to see right on the search results that a friend or a connection +1’d that website. Making search for you easier with a friend’s recommendation.

Google +1 is definitely good for ecommerce sites, web retailers and small-business website owners to sell and market their products online. It’s a word of mouth tool that recommends a product or service on the web. Make a customer happy and they will definitely spread the word about you –a chain process that every business would want to have.
